1. Clean the saw-cut joints by using a broom, air or water to make sure the saw-cuts are free of debris, e.g. grass, small concrete chips or stones.

2. Determining the correct size is very important. The Concrete Joint Gasket should be a minimum of 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm bigger then the saw-cut for a proper tight-sealed fit. We recommend to begin with the longest saw-cuts joints first and make all cuts to the gasket square for proper fitting and appearance.

3. Insert the concrete joint gasket by pressing in by hand or tap in place with the rubber mallet for the first 1 to 2 inches, pending on the amount of gasket you are installing, you can continue tapping it with a rubber hammer or use a roller.

4. Commercial Installation – Use our high-speed roller specifically designed for a fast and easy installation.

5. The Concrete Edges - Always leave 1 to 2 inches extra gasket on the ends of the concrete; for example, where the concrete meets the grass, the extra length will allow curving around the edges, for a nice sealed fit.

6. The Concrete Ends - All concrete saw-cuts may have a radius ends. Begin by cutting the end of the Concrete Joint Gasket at a 45 degree angle, this will allow for a tight seal fit.

7. The Concrete Cross Joints - When fitting the gasket to the cross joint, the cut should be a square and a minimum of a half an inch longer then needed to allow for a tight seal fit.

8. We recommend in commercial and heavy traffic areas that the Concrete Joint Gasket be pressed fitted just below the surface of the concrete by using our step roller.

9. The Concrete Joint Gasket needs no curing or waiting time; your concrete is ready to use.
